FIBERTHERMICS® heaters are unique because electro-conductive textile fibers conduct the heat; not metal wires. FIBERTHERMICS heating elements deliver comfortable warmth that is soft, gentle and soothing with even heat distribution without hot spots.

Most importantly, FiberThermics heaters are safe and non-combustible owing to their innate self-fusing capability! Compare FiberThermics unique advantages to conventional metal wires that are stiff, hard and breakable; or, to carbon heating elements that, like metal wires, are vulnerable to overheating to the point of combustion.

Another critically important advantage of FiberThermics heaters comes from our patented process for making electrical connections. This process combines textile and electrical methods to yield a stronger electrical connection that does not break or oxidize, both of which are weaknesses exhibited by conventional metal wire and carbon heater connections. Most heater field failures occur at the connection point. A reduction in field customer returns and warranty claims should be expected with heating products utilizing FiberThermics.

FIBERTHERMICS heating elements can be produced in a range of electrical resistance parameters to operate on various Voltage supply sources to meet a range of specified Watt densities per heated area.

FIBERTHERMICS heating elements can be manufactured in several physical configurations including insulated heating cables, heating tapes and heating panels. Heating tapes comprise insulated heating cables woven into a tape with heat resistance materials such as fiberglass. Heating panels comprise insulated heating cables or tapes laminated between heat resistant fabrics at predetermined spacing intervals to create a specified Watt density per heated area.
